This handbook is specially prepared for a reasonably educated and helpful local person, who can help poor to form self-help groups (SHGs). This book understands the subject in a simple way. The relevant instructions from Reserve Bank of India and NABARD are given in annexure to this book. some simple formats of the minimum requirements of account registers etc, which are generally used by SHGs are given for guidance.
The formats of the documents to be submitted by SHGs, while availing loans from banks are also given in the book.
